In 2021, during the pandemic, I was involved in the launching, running, branding & marketing of a food truck on Killiney Beach. We named it Fred + Nancy’s, after the historic locations original owners, Fred & Nancy Omen.

When it came to the branding, I wanted something minimal, eye-cathing & memorable - something anyone could scribble onto a piece of paper. In honour of their love and contribution to the community of Killiney of the years, I came up the F+N heart emblem - just like something you might see etched into a tree on Killiney Hill. I designed decals for the iconic airstream, postcards and the instagram friendly two-toned coffee cups - which have been featured in thousands of instagram stories, with a backdrop of a Killiney Bay Sunrise. In less than a month we built up a huge following on socials and F+N is recognised as a staple brand on Killiney Beach.
